    Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Vagar Airport. Transport to Gjogv

You’ll arrive at Vagar Airport where we will pick you up. After saying hi to the rest of the group we will drive to the starting point, around 1 and a half hours from the airport. We’ll arrive at the amazing village of Gjogv. Here we’ll check in at the wonderful Gjaargardur Guesthouse. This place is simply breathtaking with a wonderful staff, amazing food, and the location is breathtaking overlooking the surrounding mountains and fjords. We will then shoot sunset in one of the many beautiful seascape locations in Gjogv.

    Day 2-4: Enjoy the Adventure

The following days we will explore the incredible areas in the northern parts of the Faroe Islands. Stunning locations are scattered around and we will be moving about in our van trying to maximize our photography options. The weather and light conditions are constantly changing and fabulous light can be expected at all times. We will make sure we are at the best locations at the best times! Places like Tjørnuvik and Saksun are on the list, in addition to many incredible unnamed and less familiar spots.

Day 4-8: Vagar - Adventure Continues

On day 4 we check out from Gjaargardur and drive south towards Hotel Vagar. This nice hotel is located at the airport. This is convenient for several reasons. Most importantly we are located in the middle of a long list of epic locations; Leitisvatn, Gasadalur, Tindholmur, Bøur and Sornfell Mountain. We’ll continue to be flexible and move around according to the weather and lighting conditions. These spots are simply incredible and have to be seen in person to fully appreciate them! On the final day we’ll have breakfast at the hotel and say our “see you laters”.
